St Thomas School At A Glance

St. Thomas school is a well-established school in the NCR. Established in the year 1986, It is one of the oldest schools in Sahibabad which has carved a niche for itself and believes in the holistic growth of its children. The school campus houses the kindergarten school (hyperlink), the primary wing and the middle wing, accommodating 1700 students. The space available at our school provides our students with the opportunity to enjoy games like basketball, volleyball, badminton, handball and various other fun filled activities exploring their talents. Ambey hospital placed next door provides the school with 24 * 7 medical cares.

We believe that education is the most powerful weapon with which we can form a strong vision for our children, our nation and for the entire world. Education plays a vital role in the formation of character and paves the path for greater heights in life of every student.

It is rightly said that mind is not a vessel to be filled but a fire to be kindled. We at St. Thomas strongly believe that children only need an opportunity to showcase their talents and give out their best. We inspire our students to be great thinkers, inquirers, discoverers and inventors in their own individual fields not just inside our campus but for the world outside. KINDERGARTEN

Learning is fun. This is evident from the fact that the tiny tots enjoy these years of schooling and then it becomes a part of their reminiscence at a later stage. They sing, dance, enjoy and learn each day.

We have talented and competent teachers who pay individual attention to students, use innovative teaching methods, practice life skills education and a good value system. We make them realize that a great foundation will make them lead as great individuals.

Admission

The admission process commences in the month of September and interaction takes place in the month of October.Orientation for parents is conducted in the month of March.

To assess the tiny tots, cycle test is conducted which is mainly four in number and is held every quarter.

Activities and Competitions

Various types of activities and competitions relating to national and community festivals are undertaken month wise so that they are aware about the relevance and importance of it such as Independence Day, Teacher’s Day, Diwali, Christmas etc to inculcate a sense of belongingness to each other and the country.

In order to develop, enhance and nurture their innovative talents, activities such as clay moulding, vegetable printing, colouring and decorating Durga face etc is conducted.

Kindergarten Competitions

Various competition such as colouring, Hindi recitation, Fancy dress competition, Elocution, Show and tell, English recitation, story telling, calligraphy etc. are conducted in order to show their aptitude and learning skills.

K.G. Day

To instill confidence in them the K.G. Day is celebrated with full gaiety.

Special Assembly

To give opportunity to many students, special assemblies are conducted which also inspires the other children to take part in special assemblies such as Earth Day, Mother’s Day, Independence day, Monsoon etc. , they are made to understand the significance of each.

Planner

Month wise planner is prepared so that parents are well informed about the activities, programmes, competitions and holidays.
