With great enthusiasm, St. Thomas School Sahibabad welcomed its students to the new academic session 2025-26. The inaugural assembly was conducted by class X A where the school's Manager, Rev. Fr. Cherian Joseph asked the children to have a 'new vision, new determination and new dreams.' He also emphasized the discipline of the school and students' holistic development.

Kindergarten wing students were also warmly welcomed. They were engaged in various fun-filled activities which aimed at boosting their confidence on their first day of school.

Orientation Program

St. Thomas School, Sahibabad conducted an orientation program on March 18 to welcome new parents and students, introduce them to the school's vision and curriculum.

Science Week

The school celebrated Science Week from February 10 Feb - 15 Feb  2025, with a range of exciting activities and events that showcased students' scientific skills and knowledge. The week aimed to enhance the scientific knowledge and temperament among students.

Art Exhibition


St. Thomas, Sahibabad organised an Art Exhibition on February 8, 2025. It aims to bring forth the innate skills and talent of our students and hone their creativity. The hall was abuzz with excitement and fervor as it showcased the art works of our students in their myriad hues. The display ranged from pencil shading, bottle painting, different types of paintings, sketched portraits etc.

The parents were really happy to watch the colourful display and appreciated the efforts of both the students and the art teachers.

Hindi Week

To bring the Thomassanians closer to the Hindi
language, St. Thomas School, Sahibabad held a Hindi Literary Week for classes III to VII. The week was celebrated from February 4, 2025 to February 7, 2025 and comprised a
plethora of activities to support the curious minds and hone their creative skills.
The week commenced with the Story Telling Competition where the
students of class III were full of imagination and creativity. Later, the days were enriched with Singing Competition for class IV on Festivals of India, Extempore for class V, Word Correction for classes VI and VII.
The week proved to be truly purposeful as it brought the students closer to the magic of Hindi language.

Magic Show

Virendra Sharma's captivating magic show, organized by the Red Cross, enchanted children while spreading vital awareness about social issues like drug abuse, female foeticide, exam stress, suicide, bullying and many other social evils. It was a fun-filled yet meaningful experience that left a lasting impression, teaching important lessons in the most engaging way.

Maths Week

Maths Week was celebrated from January 28- January 31, 2025.

The objective of the week was to highlight the real world applications of mathematics. The competitions and activities help the students to understand mathematical concepts like symmetry and Geometrical shapes through creative expressions like rangoli designs and Mandala art. It also helped them in enhancing their creativity and spatial understanding.

Republic Day Celebration 2025

The school celebrated India's 76th Republic Day with great fervor. The Special Assembly was graced by school's Manager, Rev. Fr. Cherian Joseph who gave wonderful insights on the importance of having a Constitution and encouraged the students to follow the path of Justice, Liberty, Equality and Fraternity in every stage of life.
The students also took pride in celebrating the spirit of unity.

Blessing Ceremony 2025

As we bid farewell to our Class X students, it was with heavy hearts that we reflected on the beautiful moments we shared together. The heartfelt goodbye from our Class IX students truly made the day memorable, adding vibrancy and joy to the farewell event through their wonderful performances.

The celebration not only honoured our departing students but also reminded us of the lasting bonds we've created over the years.

Christmas Celebration - Senior 2024

A Special Assembly was conducted by class VIII students in the School on the occasion of Christmas.

Students chanted prayers and sang carols in praise of the Christ. They illuminated everyone with his teachings that hold true in the present circumstances. Through a nativity play, the birth of Jesus was exhibited. The school also witnessed Carol Singing Competition for the Senior Category (VI-VIII).

Aravallis House again stood victorious in the Carol Singing Competition in the senior Category while Himalayas House bagged the Runners' up Trophy.

Christmas Celebration - Junior 2024

The Junior wing of St. Thomas School, Sahibabad celebrated Christmas through a Special Assembly and also hosted an Inter-House Carol Singing Competition for classes III-V.

The participants enchanted the audience with their Christmas skit, medley of Christmas carols, joyful dance and cake cutting ceremony.

Aravallis House emerged victorious, whereas Nilgiris House secured the second position epitomizing the spirit of Christmas.

Swaranjali 2024

Music that expresses ideas and emotions in significant forms through the elements of Rhythm melody harmony and colour.'

Thomassanians conducted 'SWARANJALI 2024' - an Inter- class Solo Singing Competition on December 16. It is a musical tribute in memory of Mrs Anamika Dey, their former Music teacher.

The competition provides the students a platform to explore their passion for music and showcase their talents on stage. It was graced by Rev. Fr. Cherian Joseph, the Manager of the school, Sir Principal Mr. Dious Mathai and Madam Headmistress, Ms. Shashi Kabdal.

Teachers of St. Thomas School took center stage during the assembly, showcasing heartfelt performances filled with joy and warmth. Their dedication and creativity turned Children’s Day into an unforgettable celebration, making each student feel cherished and valued.

Aspire-Sports Day 2024

 

St.Thomas School, Sahibabad  organised its Annual Sports Meet - ASPIRE on the theme: 'Sporting for Sustainability' on October 8, 2024.
The proceedings of this auspicious day commenced with the arrival of the esteemed Chief Guest Wing Commander Gajanand Yadav, Secretary of Air Force control Board, New Delhi and Mrs Mamta Yadav, who has served in IAF for 11 yrs as an Admistrative officer.
The event was also graced by the School's Chairman, Rev. Fr. Biju Daniel, the Manager Rev. Fr. Cherian Joseph, Rev. Fr. Binish Babu, the Manager of St. Thomas Indirapuram, the Principal Mr. Dious Mathai, and Principals and Vice- Principals of our sister schools.

The enthralling welcome dance by the talented Thomassanians marked the opening of the Sports Day extravaganza. Later, it was followed by a kaleidoscope of events like Walk of Honour, Felicitation Ceremony of meritorious students, Yoga, Flower Power Drill, Ribbon Drill, Taekwondo, Scouts and Guides.

The air was also charged with the spirit of competition as athletes showcased their prowess on the field in various athletic events. The day concluded with a harmonious rendition of the National Anthem.
